CN Studios Blog

The CN Studios site is pretty much done, but I figured I can post up a photo while the blog is getting its kinks worked out. Results of a quick 10 minute session with a coworker during my lunch break yesterday. This is probably going to be the new format of the images (larger images, smaller logo) now that I’ve made the site’s content column a bit bigger.

I’ve a lot more stuff to get around to… expect many more blog posts… when I get my butt on that editing!

Sorry for the lack of updates; the blog and portfolio sites are being revamped and integrated. Will hopefully be done mid-August!

Please excuse the ugly site while this is updating!

This a follow up to a previous post supporting the California-based NOH8 Campaign. I held a second session earlier this month, and the final images are ready! Rather long post, as I have both individual photos and group photos from this one.

Lot of interest in the shoots, and I may be having a third one early August!

Had a short headshots session with Margaux last week. She is an aspiring actress from France with an amazing smile (it’s the dimple, I tell ya). Here’s proof of it:

Yep. This makes two posts in one night for me. Anywho…

The NoH8 campaign is an anti-Prop 8 effort (no hate/h8, get it?) that was started by a photographer in CA to help support for gay marriage. I am submitting a series to their site that follows the NoH8 style, which is… white background and white shirt (representing the peaceful side), duct tape over the mouth (symbolizing not having our voices heard), and the letters/numbers NOH8 painted on one cheek.

While they accept personal, self-portrait submissions (via this link), I am shooting a series of portraits done in my home studio for one large submission. For those of you interested in supporting the campaign, please visit the NOH8 website, and perhaps submit a photo of yourself.

Following are the images from the first NOH8 session held at my home studio. Faces all painted by yours truly. :)
