As promised, here is the session that I shot with Tiffany. Her aim was to get some nifty acting headshots—I used this opportunity to test out the new canvas backdrop that I painted a few weeks ago. I’m just that sneaky! For these first two, a spotlight was placed on the canvas directly behind her (sorry, no fake vignetting). Despite it being so grungy, I love how soft it is in this scenario. I think I was squealing when I saw how the first few shots came out.

Different light setup for the next two; we removed the spotlight in the back and brought it over to the right side as a kicker, and I think she was also sitting closer to the backdrop, so it wasn’t completely blurred out like the last two. Tiffany’s not a very girly-girl (I like) so these last few are probably a better reflection of her personality. At this point is was just a lot of goofing off, since the first headshots portion was done and over with. I was also tag-teaming with Andrew, a mutual friend and awesome photographer who had brought her over. It was a long (and fun) day.
