... and I spent it to visit my old campus. What a nice break from the city.

Kind of wish I Helga’ed this following shot. It would’ve looked cool with the black and white film and the prettiful vignetting. I think I snapped away at some other sign in the area, though. Thinking about it, I really only need to worry about that one shutter button (c’mon, it’s a plastic camera), but for some reason I’m so paranoid that I might somehow be screwing up the photos, even given the random nature of resulting photos from that sort of camera.

Stopped by the bamboo forest too. It started drizzling by then, but it was nice getting myself lost in there. :) Kind of scary though, because it was dark. Had to crank up the ISO for this one.

Bear Mountain trip didn’t last too long so we came back and ran around Central Park. It was pretty crowded around Bethesda Fountain, so this was all I really got.

Woke up super duper early. I think we left around 5am to head upstate. Not as much hiking as I had imagined, but it was really pretty. And I learned that mountain tops are pretty damn cold!

The last shot below makes me really want to see and/or read The Secret Garden. No, I really do not know anything about it, other than its title, although I probably saw the movie when I was but a wee one. Or maybe I didn’t, and envied anyone who did. But it really does look like a little hidden pathway somewhere (to me, at least).

... not new, yet improved.

Had some time to kill before my first photo shoot with my friend’s acting classmates. So I walked around the city for hours on end (no joke, I had about 5 hours to kill) visiting various parks and seeing what I could find.

And the following was shot killing additional time after the shoot.
