My first shoot with an agency model (represented non-exclusively through Orb, I think) and a full styling team… with one light unit and an umbrella. In what felt like a 5′x6′ room. Yes, the brick wall was inside an apartment. It was cramped, crowded, and fun. Five female 20-somethings with makeup, hair styling stuff, clothes and a camera? Girls. Night. Out. =P
I never realized how much heavy-duty extension cords weigh, ’til I had to transport 20lbs of equipment to Brooklyn via MTA. Trekking back out there for part deux next weekend. Yay!
